Molly (Box) Donnell is an award winning artist, photographer and graphic designer who is native to Wyoming. Growing up in Cheyenne, but having to opportunity to spend time abroad in France, provides Molly with a unique perspective for the art she chooses to create. Her passion for culture, the West and the great outdoors can easily been seen through her work, even though her style has been greatly influenced by Post-Impressionism.
Molly's main subject is nature and wildlife, and she usually creates her art from photographs she takes herself. She believes very strongly in observing your environment and creating art based on your surroundings and experiences. She grew up with a love for the West and interest in the wildlife of Wyoming that continues to grow.
She has exhibited with the Artisan's Gallery, The Grounds, and the American Heritage Center/University of Wyoming Art Museum in Laramie, WY as well as the Art on Mountain Gallery in Fort Collins, CO and the Cheyenne Artist Guild in Cheyenne, WY. She also regularly exhibits in many regional shows, and some of her work can currently be viewed at Works of Wyoming, at 211 S 1st St., Laramie, WY.
